Beginner Guide

Your first goal is not a perfect dream XI. Your first goal is a stable board: eleven usable players, no obvious dead slot, enough chemistry to stop wasting OVR, and a clear plan for which position deserves the next reroll.

Build A Soccer Squad rewards patience more than button spam. The game advertises over 1000 players, premium captains, Cup Players, and 105+ OVR cards, but a new player gets farther by fixing the weakest three positions before chasing every famous name that appears.

First Hour Checklist

New players usually lose value in two ways: they reroll a decent card because a famous player might appear, or they accept a high OVR card that breaks the links around it. The first mistake burns currency; the second makes the board look better while the total rating barely moves.

A clean first hour means each spend has a reason. If a low-rated fullback is the only red flag, spend on the fullback lane. If three midfield links are weak, stabilize the middle before upgrading a winger. If the board is already above 93, stop rebuilding and test Cup Mode.

  1. Open the official Bloxheed game page

Use the root place 82524183928567 so you do not land in a similarly named soccer card clone.

  2. Redeem DOUBLE

Claim the current code for 20 Rerolls and 20 Refreshes before you spend starter attempts.

  3. Fill the 4-3-3

Do not leave a position empty while chasing one elite forward; a full XI gives you a clearer OVR baseline.

  4. Mark the three worst slots

Usually this means one defender, one midfielder, and one forward rather than rerolling the same favorite position repeatedly.

  5. Push toward 93 OVR

Cup Mode requires 93 OVR or higher, so use that as the first major benchmark.

Spend Rerolls and Refreshes

Rerolls are best used when you know what outcome you are trying to replace. A weak 82 OVR card in a critical chemistry lane is a better target than a 94 OVR striker who already carries the attack. Refreshes are stronger when the current options do not solve the slot problem you identified.

The DOUBLE reward is large enough to tempt a full board rebuild. Resist that impulse. Spend in small batches, check whether total OVR and links improved, then continue only if the next weakest slot is still obvious. A messy squad with no plan can consume all free attempts and finish less balanced than it started.

ResourceBest early useAvoid
RerollsReplace the weakest slot once the XI is full.Rerolling a stable card because its name is less exciting.
RefreshesChange options when the current shop or roll path cannot solve a position.Refreshing before you know the target position.
Quest rewardsUse as a steady refill between larger upgrade pushes.Treating quests as optional if you are below 93 OVR.

When to Chase Captains

Premium Captains are tied to completing selected teams from 2002. That makes them a medium-term route, not the first thing a new account should force. Start a captain chase only after you understand which team completion path is close enough that your currency can realistically finish it.

The captain route is powerful because a 99 OVR reward can anchor a lineup. It is also expensive if you spread progress across many teams at once. Pick one target, keep the needed positions visible, and avoid spending on cards that raise today’s OVR while delaying the captain unlock.
